Water

The elemental force of water is a recurring theme in my work. We are permeable beings composed primarily of water, and the sounds and rhythms of that water resonate along with our heartbeats.   I am always drawn to the shifts of the colors and reflections of water, the transitions of sand and shorelines, the movements and songs of the wild waves. Water, fog, and the sea air itself offers a mystery and both a clarity and obscurity of vision, leading us into dreamlike and spiritual journeys, while lightning, winds and rolling waves offer the possibility for destruction as well as renewal.
